Heliport Inset FATO Perimeter Light / Aiming Point Light, White LED - 100cd, Infrared NVG Compatible

The FATO lights, when they are present, is required if night operation are present. The system is composed by lights with white omnidirectional emission, located on the perimeter of heliport.
In some case, where the Landing are is reduced, the FATO area and the TLOF one are the same and the green lights are used.

The FATO area can be circular (in this case are required a minimum of 10 lights installed with a max distance of 5 meters one from the other) or square (in this case are required a minimum of 4 lights for each side, including the ones in the corners, and installed at a max distance of 50meters one from the others).
