Heliport Lighting System

1. Final approach and takeoff area (FATO) lights

• Elevated FATO lighting system-Light to define the edge of the Final approach and take-off area of heliports. White steady; Elevated.

• Inset FATO heliport lighting system - Light to define the edge of the Final approach and take-off area of heliports. White steady; Inset.

2. Touchdown and lift-off area (TLOF) lights

• Elevated TLOF heliport lighting system - Light to define the perimeter of the Touchdown and lift-off area of any kind of heliports: surface-level, elevated and shipboard heliports. Green/Yellow steady; elevated.

• Inset TLOF heliport lighting system - Light to defining the perimeter of the Touchdown and lift-off area of any kind of heliports: surface-level, elevated and shipboard heliports. Green/Yellow steady; Inset.

3. Taxiway edge lights

• Inset Taxiway edge lights - Light to outline the edges of heliport taxiways during periods of darkness or restricted visibility conditions. Blue Steady; Inset.

4. Beacon lights

• Heliport Beacon Light - Light to make the heliport visible in poor visibility conditions. White flashing Morse code "H" (group of 4 flashes)

• Heliport Rotating Beacon Light - Light to make the heliport visible in poor visibility conditions. Alternate White, Green, Yellow.

5. Floodlights

• Heliport Floodlight - Light for use at night when it is not possible to display obstacles. White steady.
