FAA L-807 L-806 Internally LED Lighted Windsock, 7m Center-Hinged Mast Illuminated Wind Cone with Obstruction Light for Airport, Heliport

A windcone is a carefully designed fabric cone that is mounted on a metal frame. This metal frame is attached to a vertical pole via a swivel that allows the fabric cone to rotate freely. The fabric cone must be designed to provide relative wind speed indication. A fully extended windsock indicates a wind speed in excess of 15 knots. An illuminated windcone must be powered in some manner. Common methods are with 120VAC/240VAC or 6.6Amp circuitry. Recent advances in both LED and solar power technology have allowed for the creation of reliable and compliant solar powered LED windsocks.
Wind Direction Indicators or wind cones provide visual surface wind direction and velocity information to pilots in flight or on the ground at airport and heliports. We based our wind cone portfolio on FAA specifications

Heliport Approach Lighting System for Quezon City, Phillipine(Malacañang Helipad) * Helicopter approach path indicator (HAPI) lights are used to provide glideslope guidance to pilots; * SAGA (System of Azimuth Guidance for Approach) provides a combined signal of approach azimuth guidance and threshold identification.

General Aviation Surface-Level Heliport Lighting System * TLOF inset perimeter light, uniformly spaced green omnidirectional lights along the TLOF perimeter, no more than 5 m apart. * Floodlights improve visibility for heliport operations. Install clear of the TLOF, FATO and safety area * CHAPI System, if there are few visual cues or a specific approach is required, employ a VASI, especially at night. * Wind Cone, internally lit wind direction indicator for nighttime flights. * Controller, designed to provide complete control of heliport lighting systems
