HELIPORT LIGHTS - PERIMETER LIGHT TLOF INSET

图片
A lighting system for Touchdown and Lift-Off (TLOF) area must be present in every heliport where night operations are conducted. TLOF lighting system is composed by green omnidirectional lights located on the TLOF boundaries: minimum of 14 lights for round areas or minimum 4 lights for square areas (maximum distance between beacons must not exceed 3 meters). This product is the ideal solution when looking for low power consumption. CDT TLOF-INSET Light, mono-LED type, has been designed to be a compact, lightweight and low-consumption product; it can be easily installed and a balance of patented optics, electronics and mechanical components make this device the most reliable, high-quality and low-cost LED INSET perimeter light available on the market. Airport/Heliport Approach Light-System for Approach Azimuth Guidance(SAGA System)

图片
Application The SAGA (System of Azimuth Guidance for Approach) provides a combined signal of approach azimuth guidance and threshold identification. Features & Benefits Safe operation as the SAGA system is automatically stopped when at least one of its light units is out of service. A signal is available for monitoring of this default status in the control room. Easy maintenance through easy access to the lamp and all terminals. No special tools are required. The remote control of three brilliancy levels is possible for a better visual comfort for the pilot (no dazzling). Efficiency as coupled with a PAPI, the SAGA system supplies the pilot with the security and the comfort of an Optical ILS. In order to maintain operation even in very cold and/or wet areas, the light units of SAGA are equipped with heating resistors. Additions of red filters (option) provide to the SAGA system with the option of emitting red Flashes corresponding to fly exclusion zone due to obst

Airport PAPI Light(Precision approach path indicator), How to use them?

图片
A  precision approach path indicator  ( PAPI ) is a  visual aid  that provides guidance information to help a pilot acquire and maintain the correct approach (in the vertical plane) to an airport or an aerodrome. It is generally located on the left-hand side of the runway approximately 300 meters beyond the landing threshold of the runway. How to use airport PAPI light? The PAPI system usually consists of four light units located at the side of the runway adjacent to the origin of the glide path. They are equally spaced and a color-coded light output provides a visual indication of an aircraft’s position relative to the designated glide slope for the runway heading. The characteristics of each light unit is identical. Each PAPI light consists of a light source, red filter and lenses. A high-intensity beam is emitted from each unit. The bean shows two distinct colours lower part is red in colour, while the upper part is white. The colour transition boundaries of the four units are fixed

Surface/Ground Level Heliport Lighting System

图片
All of CDT's heliport lights use the latest LED technology as their light source. CDT lenses are low-powered, high intensity LEDs designed specifically for superior optical performance, are cost efficient and the most reliable lights on the market. Surface-level heliports include all heliports located on ground level or on a structure on the surface of the water. Surface level heliports can consist of a single or several helipads. Surface level heliports are utilised by a wide range of industries including commercial, military and private operators. ICAO and the FAA have defined rules for surface-level heliports. Common lighting recommendations for ICAO and FAA surface-level heliports consist of: Final Approach and Take Off (FATO) lights. Touchdown and Lift-off area (TLOF) lights. Flightpath alignment guidance lights to indicate available approach and/or departure path direction. An illuminated wind direction indicator to indicate wind direction and speed. Heliport b
